Ultraman: Rise of the Hero (2026) | Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway | Concept Trailer

A decorated NASA astronaut’s deep space mission turns into something no training could ever prepare a person for. Jake Gyllenhaal plays a man who encounters a dying cosmic warrior adrift in the void, an ancient being wounded from centuries of battling a world-destroying force across galaxies. When their life forces merge and Jake crashes back to Earth with no memory of what happened, he wakes on a remote beach carrying impossible strength, terrifying visions, and something vast living inside his mind.

Anne Hathaway portrays his wife, the emotional core of the story, watching helplessly as the very creature that hunted that cosmic warrior across the universe rises from the Pacific. When Jake finally raises the Beta Capsule toward the sky, the transformation is inevitable. Three hundred meters of silver and crimson standing between civilization and extinction.

Honestly, this project consumed me. Around 10 to 12 hours across multiple late nights, studying footage frame by frame, matching the emotional weight of each beat to the right visual. I wanted the merge sequence to feel genuinely unsettling and the final clash to feel apocalyptic rather than just spectacular. Several different tools, a lot of color grading passes, and constant restructuring of the pacing before it finally clicked into something I felt proud of.
