He’s been sent by Xerxes to finish what the God-King started, and he intends to destroy Greece not through invasion but by turning the Greek city-states against each other. Artemis, played by Charlize Theron, is the warrior queen of a northern Greek territory who commands her own army and answers to no man. She’s the key alliance Alexios needs but earning her trust might cost him more than any battle. Tharros, played by Idris Elba, is a legendary Spartan general who took command after Leonidas fell and has been holding together what remains of Spartan military power through sheer will and fury.
